COURSE OVERVIEW


Psychology focuses on the mind and the behavior of humans.
This course focuses on the general principles of psychology and children’s physical,
emotional and intellectual development and human behavior in the workplace.
it is the study of human behavior and experience and the ways in
which individuals relate to each other and their environment.



Admission Requirements

A National Senior Certificate or equivalent



Certification and Examination Authority

The Diploma in Psychology -General Developmental and Industrial qualification is accredited
by the Quality Council of Trade and Occupations (QCTO).
Certificates are issued by Vaal Skills Training Institute (PTY).
Vaal Skills Training Institute (PTY) is accredited by Umalusi Council of Quality Assurance in General and
Further Education and Training and by the Quality Council of Trade and Occupations (QCTO).
Programmes are fully accredited with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).



Duration

Two (2) years full-time

Formative and summative assessments are an integral part of the programme and are used to ensure that the learner understands the course and is able to successfully complete the qualification.
