COURSE OVERVIEW


The course in Financial Management includes in-depth knowledge in the financial landscape from cost
and management accounting, computerised financial systems, financial accounting, entrepreneurship,
business management and management communication. Numeracy and administrative skills are a key
requirement for this course, with the job functions extending to financial and business transactions
to preparing financial reports and assisting senior managers with various other functions.
If you have a natural flair for numbers and enjoy analysing and making sense of data,
then a career in financial management is a great career path.



Admission Requirements

Any of the following certificates will be accepted at registration:
National Senior Certificate/Grade 12
N3 Certificate/NCV Level 4 Certificate
ABET Level 4 Certificate



Certification and Examination Authority

Learners will receive the following at each level:
National Certificate N4, N5, N6
National N Diploma in Financial Management on completion of N4-N6 and 18-months’ of in- service training
The National N Diploma includes two (2) years of theory and 18-months of in-service training.
All examinations are set and administered by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
The National N Diploma is issued by the DHET.

On successful completion, you will receive an N1, N2 and FLC Communication certificate and can then progress to the N3-N4 qualification.
